Our basement was a big undertaking and in reality, was kind of daunting. To create the space we wanted, it required the moving of load bearing walls, and a full redesign of the space. Shaun and Matt were able to help us create a vision the reflected what we were wanting and then make that vision a reality. Our basement has now become the favorite space in the entire home.
The Lakeside Basement was a Project with nearly anything you can image. We were able to take this large empty space of over 2,700 square feet, and really helped turn the space into one that the client and family just love.
The client wanted to assure we used all the space to it's fullest capacity, and this required some extensive engineering as load bearing walls were moved and redesigned in order to maximize the space. This allows us extensive space to create a full bathroom that is perfect for their family with near teenage children.
The client loves to spend time together so their theater space was a massive priority. They wanted to have something that was open and could be used for multiple purposes rather than a strictly theater space. We worked together to create an open space which is separated by two bars, and a surrounding full kitchen, they're able to entertain, and enjoy a great movie nights, while providing flexibility for the space to be used for other purposes.
Together with a custom home gym, an additional storage and craft room, along with a custom feel and incredible interior design throughout, this basement was an amazing project from start to finish.
